EXPERIENCE
U.S. Submarine Force and Naval Special Forces Departed service as a First Class Radioman (Submarines) with an honorable discharge. RDT&E Director/ADP Security Officer/Leading Petty Officer, Naval Special Warfare Group One (NSWG-1), Mobile Communications Team (MCT), United States Navy Served as LPO of NSWG-1 MCT, handling daily operations through worldwide operations and exercises support. Oversaw administration, training, qualification, security, deployment, and redeployment of over 45 personnel. Founded NSWG-1s Communications Research Development Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) team. Conceived and designed the Naval Special Warfare Information Exchange Subsystem (NSWIXS), a network-based communications system which integrated tactical and strategic special warfare communications. Functioned as a technical liaison between NSWG-1 RDT&E and academic, civilian, and military research counterparts, including Johns Hopkins Universitys Applied Physics Laboratory (JHUAPL), Naval Research Laboratory (NRL), Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), Joint Interoperability Test Center (JITC), and NAVY Tactical Exploitation of National Capabilities (TENCAP). Conducted operations aboard U.S. submarines, ships, aircraft, and small crafts within CONUS and abroad. Received the
Naval Achievement Medal (Gold Star in lieu of Second Award) as Communications Officer Commander, Naval Special Warfare Task Unit Kamehameha, and supervisor for the development and integration of the NSWIXS during exercise Tandem Thrust 95. Submarine Cryptographic Technician/Operator/Communication Supervisor, USS Silversides (SSN-679) Qualified Submarines while a crewmember aboard the USS Silversides.

Served as the boats crypto technician. Received the
Navy Achievement Medal for training efforts aboard the USS Silversides (SSN-679). Developed an intensive training program, providing communication watch standers the tools to efficiently learn the skills required to become effective submarine communicators. The training, dedication, and hard work of the communications division earned the Communications Green C for the Silversides (SSN-679). AWARDS
